United's academy celebrate Lingard's opener

Manchester United’s academy side draw 2-2 with Sheffield United in the first leg of the FA Youth Cup final at Bramhall Lane.

A debatable Jesse Lingard opener, which was Geoff Hurst 1966-esque opened the scoring before the Blades replied with a wonder strike from Callum McFadzen.

Will Keane put United ahead in the second half before Jordan Slew set up a mouth watering second leg at Old Trafford next Monday- I urge all Reds to be there!

Here’s all the goals.

if the sheffield fans supported thier team like that every week they might not be as shit as they are. still, its not every week the real united come to town.

we have sold our allocation for the 2nd leg every time your club has increased it, however your “fans” numbered about 4 coaches full at Bramall Lane in SHEFFIELD – the HOME of FOOTBALL – pitiful support for your youth team, just pitiful.
You played the REAL United at Bramall Lane – we’ve been UNITED since 1889, your team only got their name in 1902.
