Wesley Sneijder

Is the Dutchman heading to Old Trafford?

Wesley Sneijder could be unveiled as a Manchester United player sooner than people think according to Talksport’s Dom McGuinness.

The Manchester based reporter stated he believes the Dutchman is on his way to Old Trafford in the very near future.

Sam Matterface who presents the show stated that his sources had told him Samir Nasri preferred a move to Manchester City due to “astronomical wages on offer.”

Whether Nasri ends up at Eastlands or Sneijder is plying his trade at the Theatre of Dreams remains to be seen, but the positive thing for United is regardless of who comes or doesn’t the squad is in great shape.

I used to want nasri bt i think sneidjer wl be a top signing …… 200.000 wages wll be enough nt 250.000 , his wages cnt be more than rooneys bcz his skill is nt even close to rooneys COME ON , DOES HE EVEN THINK MAN UTD WLL PAY HIM 250.000

I like all the names mentioned here, i personally think bastian sweinsteiger would be perfect, he offers a bounty of midfield quality, he is a bull goes box to box, can score, defend and hit set pieces basically he is the whole package. Him an nasri would be great pairing with what we have, but id take the big german over any of them

Carrick’s a really good ball holder…I think we will need him. He adds a necessary pause in midfield when we need to slow the game down. Nasri wouldn’t be great yes, but Arsenal arent letting him go, let alone to United. Sneijder is to me, obviously the better of the two so I think if we can sign him alone, no problemo.

I think we’re focusing too much on this barca issue, they arent the only team in the world, and some day their brilliance is going to fade. With our new signings, we’re starting to build a powerhouse, which is what Barcelona didi a few years ago. It’s barca’s time and I say, let them shine now, we’re building a team, that’l gleam in a few years.

If we sign Sneijder we will have to change the way we play to a flexible 433 – Really can’t see how he would fit in to our present way of playing.

If this was the case, I could see Hernandez having to make way (even though he was probably my favourite player last season). I would envisage a midfield 3 of something like Sneijder, Anderson, Fletcher, and then a ‘front’ 3 of something like Young, Rooney and Nani. Really is going to be fasinating to see what SAF is going to do.

I wouldn’t have chicarito make way for any player in the world. I genuinely mean that.

If sneijder is saying he wants to stay at inter, I think we should look elsewhere. “me and my wife love inter and Milan. I don’t want to leave”.
Well leave em there I say. I can’t be a#sed with another player that let’s his wife say where he plays. It’s a joke, they only play until 34 if they’re lucky.
Their wives can dictate where they live for the rest of their lives after that. Or at least till they take half of their hard earned cash and run off with someone else.
This has really put me off signing him.
