It has been a bad week for both Manchester teams in the Europa League. United lost in Spain, while City’s win was not enough to take them through. The main outcome of the matches, was discovering how pretty damn decent the Athletic Bilbao fans are. Bravo.
Chelsea compleated a great come back, against Napoli, to progress in the Champions League. Dispite another goal-less night, im certain that every Manchester United fan is right behind Fernando Torres….. Mainly on ‘goals scored’
The race for the Premier League took a twist last weekend. After Manchester United beat West Brom, Manchester City suffered a 1-0 defeat in Wales. There was also players throwing strops and trouble in the tunnel for City. They have now had more trouble in the tunnel than Sylvester Stallone in Daylight.
There was claims this week, that a Manchester United player, has starred in a number of porn films. Appatently, he’s not the main star, stays in the background and keeps things ticking along. It must be Michael Carrick.
There was good news for Liverpool this week. According to Kenny Dalglish, kit deals are just as good as points. With these extra points, they go 6th.
John Terry has failed this week, to have the lip reading evidence, in the case against him, thrown out of court. Rumour has it, he will next try and get his character references, thrown out.
And finally. Arsenal striker Park Chu-young has been allowed to delay his compulsory military service for ten years. This may be a blessing in desguise for South Korea. Anyone who has seen him play will admit, that his ‘shooting’ isn’t the best.
