De Gea – Faced the occasional shot with which he dealt with ease. Instead, his impressive ability to deal with various aerial balls were his most notable highlights. 7

Rafael – Energetic and willing to get stuck in. His enthusiasm allowed him to really attack the Fulham fullbacks but his disciplined positioning meant he was never caught out. 8

Evans – His assist was just another example as tp why he is such a vital player for United. Extremely good on the ball and always looking to go forward yet still solid at the back. 8

Rio – Read the game effortlessly and didn’t give the Fulham attackers anything to work with. 7

Evra – Very few people cover as much ground as he does but there really is no point in all that if you’re then going to waste the chance with a misplaced pass from 4 yards away. Incredibly frustrating to watch. 3

Valencia – Normally direct and concise with his play but instead he was too slow and wasteful when on the ball. Took too many unneeded touches which allowed the defenders to regroup. 6

Carrick – Overran in midfield and understandably so as he was thrown into the mix against three very good midfielders. Clumsy with his tackling and nearly cost us two points had the penalty been given late on. 5

Giggs – Again, he was also unable to keep up with the Fulham midfield but his countless careless passes and lethargic movement off the ball did him no real favours. 4

Young – Consistent threat throughout the match. Always looked like he was capable of producing something special and was unlucky not to score on two occasions. 8

Rooney – Closing in on the Golden Ball award with yet another goal but his match winning goal doesn’t reflect his performance. Wasteful, slow and sloppy. 5

Welbeck – Put in his usual shift but failed to do anything positive with the ball. Lost it on various occasions which put the midfield under serious pressure. His decision making will improve with experience. 4

Subs:Hernandez – He played the lone striker role extremely well by drifting out wide and bringing others into play. Just needs to learn to hold the ball up and be more composed. Mixed performance. 6

Smalling – Naive with his positioning by following his marker and creating gaps for the Fulham attackers to expose, most notably with their penalty appeal. 4

Scholes – Brought some much need stability to the midfield late on by keeping hold of the ball and slowing the tempo down. 6

Some low ratings for some decent performances i thought. Also Rooney is nowhere near the golden ball. I think he’s still trailing Van Persie in the Gilden boot isn’t he?

reading this i thought you had it bang on the money, Carrick is it me or is the lad incapable of passing a ball more then 10 yards.

dont get me wrong i think he is a talented player but for gods sake use the ball instead of the drab 5 yard pass to the nearest player.
