Somewhere in there could be the key to our season

Will he be fit for Eastlands?

United have suffered an injury worry ahead of Monday’s title deciding clash at Eastlands with news that Nani has suffered a knock to his ankle during a training session.

The Portuguese winger was on fine form against Everton scoring his second goal in two games and linking up superbly with Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck.

Whether the mercurial wide man will be able to play against City remains to be seen as The Guardian reports:

Nani may be a doubt for Monday’s Premier League encounter againstManchester City after limping out of training with a suspected ankle injury.

The Manchester United winger suffered the knock in a tackle during his side’s first training session in Cardiff on Friday, where they are spending a weekend break in preparation for the derby.

With Jonny Evans also a doubt, what looked like a fully fit United first team- minus Nemanja Vidic of course, could now be missing two key players in a game where Sir Alex Ferguson needs everyone at his disposal.

Should Nani be unavailable it would surely mean a start for Ashley Young who found himself on the subs bench against Everton, with some speculating it was to relieve him of some of the pressure he’s been under regarding  winning United penalties.

Young’s been playing well of late, regardless of what some ‘pundits’ may claim and if Nani  isn’t available then United have a ready made replacement in the former Villa man, who may just want to silence a few critics.

Oh no :(. We need him. 2 games since he came had two goals and two assists. He will give Richards hard time going forward if he plays. Hope its nothing of worry.
