The Pogba transfer saga has took a final and disappointing turn for United, with reports that the young midfielder has decided to join Italian giants Juventus rather than stay at Old Trafford.

Despite Sir Alex Ferguson repeatedly telling the media and the youngster himself that he has a big future at United, even going as far to claim he will become ‘a great United player’ the former Le Havre man has decided to move to Turin in the Summer.

The Mail reports:

Teenage sensation Paul Pogba has decided to quit Manchester United and sign for Juventus.

The France Under-19 midfielder has turned down a lucrative contract at Old Trafford to join the Italian outfit.

His decision was made known in a letter from his agent Mino Raiola to United chief executive David Gill, but there has been no contact between Pogba, 19, and United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

This will come a something of a sickening blow to many at United, with Pogba being seen as someone who could have made an impression on the first team as quickly as next season, especially with the likes of Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes getting to the stage where cameos are perhaps more likely than full games.

Of course, it’s still yet to be confirmed by either the club or the player, but the fact that Pogba’s not yet signed an offer from the club he’s currently playing for, doesn’t bode well, especially with reports in Italy and now England that’s he Juventus-bound.

The Daily Mail?! Are you serious?! Nice way to waste my time. Redflagflyinghigh – your number one tabloid fan’s blog. Obviously not a Utd fan if you rely on the Mail for stories. Shameful.

  3. Prince Evans says:

No apology, Pogba should be let go. We survived without the likes of David Bekham and C. Ronaldo let alone him. Byeeeeeee Mr Juventus!

Kagawa better than pogba, we need willing players, proven quality, who will step right in and take control. Unwilling and unsure to the point of stupidity, and most importantly disloyal Pogba can go to hell. Good riddance.

Another failure for Utd’s management. There are many actually lately….bad purchases ( why buy Young,a mediocre winger we don’t need and Jones, a future prospect at best), young palyers leaving in droves ( Morrison/troubled may be but a good player nonetheless, Pique sold but Evans kept !!!!!!, Rossi , a top striker in Spain but we couldn’t harness )…We should, actually Gill should, look at oueselves, top down and act. Before we promptly morph into Liverpool or Arsenal. Be afraid, very afraid.

Last week his agent came out and said he wanted to stay. This is the Mail looking for a story. I hope he stays, yes he’s had his head turned like so many others (Rooney etc) but this lad has something we are missing at the moment. Wait till its official.

Who knows if its true or not. But I think we’ll get a good indication by 4pm. If he’s anywhere near the bench then it’s more bullshit. But ultimastely, I thinks he’s a gonner, simoply because he hasnt signed for us.
