United travel to Craven Cottage this afternoon in the day’s late kick off as the Reds aim to go ten points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League.

Martin Jol’s Fulhma more or less gave up before kick off at Old Trafford last week producing the sort of belief-free performance that many sides used to display against United in seasons past. Fulham are a different beast at Craven Cottage though, especially in a vital league game and United can’t expect such a cumbersome showing from the Londoners today. After a recent win over West Ham, Fulham will be full of confidence and United may need to get out of the blocks quickly to avoid the debacle we saw against Southampton midweek.

As Sir Alex Ferguson pointed out in his press conference yesterday the atmosphere at Craven Cottage is always memorable and hopefully today’s game will be for the right reasons.

United line-up: De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Carrick, Cleverley, Nani, Rooney, Valencia, Robin Van Persie.
