United took one step closer to the title with s comfortable 2-0 win over Queen’s Park Rangers at Loftus Road, thanks to goals from Rafael and Ryan Giggs.

Rafael’s goal was one of the best of the season as the Brazilian showed yet again, just why he’s become one of the Reds most important players this campaign.

Giggs poured more water on the idea that he needs to retire in the Summer with yet another vital goal in a career that if you made it up would look grossly unrealistic. With City entertaining Chelsea later today, Roberto Mancini’s men will know that a win is pretty much vital if the Blue half of Manchester are going to retain their title this season.

People will always talk about “eight points in April” but with performances like the one in West London, United seem to be showing that last season’s sickening title loss has made the Reds more determined than ever.
