Norwich City are the visitors to Old Trafford this afternoon as the Reds look to move 15 points clear at thee top of the Barclays Premier League.

With Noisy Neighbours Manchester City not playing until Monday night when they travel to Villa Park, Sir Alex Ferguson knows it’s important United don’t offer Roberto Mancini’s men any glimmer of hope in the title race.

With Real Madrid visiting on Tuesday, Sir Alex knows he can’t play his strongest side today, and has picked a side of several players who probably won’t feature midweek with some that will.

The main focus today is get the three points, hopefully secure them without too many problems and not having to use players that could do with a rest.

With Rooney and RVP starting it’s certainly not a ‘soft’ side facing the Canaries this afternoon.

United line-up: De Gea; Smalling, Vidic, Evans, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Anderson, Kagawa; Rooney, RvP
