Sunday’s trip to the Britannia will hopefully give Sir Alex Ferguson’s side the chance to bounce back from the debacle that was the derby day defeat on Monday night.

A win against Tony Pulis’s men would all but end any lingering title chances Manchester City still harbour and also edge United closer to that record points total. Injury wise the Reds are in pretty good shape, with only Ashley Young and Paul Scholes definite none starters for Sunday. The main question is will Sir Alex persist with Robin Van Persie up front, considering the lack of goals the Dutchman has of late?
