Could we really see the return of the artist known as CR7?

If we’re gonna give United any credit this Summer it’s got to be for at least getting linked with some of the world’s best players- regardless of how realistic the links actually are.

In the past we’ve had stories of the likes of Victor Wanyama and Simon Mignolet being set to join the Reds whereas now we’re al least treated to rumours of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Cesc Fabregas.

The latest Ronnie to United rumours, no matter how salacious, have got more than a few Reds a tad excited and while stories that eminate from the Daily Star should be treated with a truck load of  salt, former Real President Ramon Calderon has added a bit of fuel to the fire.

Calderon told Sky Sports News:

It seems that Manchester United are interested in having him back,”

“I know there have been talks where they have expressed interest.”

Do we honestly trust anything Calderon spouts? Probably not, as the former Real president is known for a bit of mischief making, but as with anything involving Ronaldo, more than a few of us just can’t help but get excited at even the remotest chance of him returning ‘home.’
