Could the striker be set to start?

United travel to the King Power Stadium today looking to build on the recent impressive 4-0 demolition of Queens Park Rangers. Nigel Pearson’s side are a different animal to ‘Arry Redknapp’s and as Louis Van Gaal noted in his recent press conference, it won’t be an easy fixture for the Reds.

Arsenal were held to a one all draw at Leicester recently, while it took Chelsea an hour to break down the Foxes resilient defence. United have tried more players than any other team in the league this season, but now may be the time for some stability as Van Gaal begins to realise his best eleven.

Wayne Rooney may be the only player declared ‘undroppable’ by the Reds boss, but so far Juan Mata, David De Gea and Tyler Blackett have also fallen into that category and we can expect them to as well today.

Here’s a predicted line up for the game at Leicester:

4-3-3: David De Gea, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Tyler Blackett, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, Ander Herrera, Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Radamel Falcao.

Do you agree? Does RVP deserve to start? Feel free to comment below:
