Will the left back make his debut?

Will the left back make his debut?

Can you ever remember a home game against West Ham where you saw United with such a star-studded squad yet couldn’t shake the feeling it’s still a game we could drop points? The Reds have enjoyed- or rather ‘endured’ a somewhat mixed start to the season and last week’s capitulation brought about a post-match dressing room inquest according to Robin Van Persie.

There’s little doubt United can score goals- we’ve seen seven in the last two league games- the problem is the Red’s defence is about as inspiring as an Ed Miliband speech and there’s the feeling that the Leicester debacle may only have made a shaky back line even more fragile.

“Attack is the best form of defence”  so we can expect the Reds to really go for it this afternoon and unleash the galaticos.  With Tyler Blackett suspended and Jonny Evans injured Louis Van Gaal will have to shuffle his defensive pack and could bring in youngster Tom Thorpe.

Here’s how the Reds could line up today:

David De Gea, Rafael, Marcos Rojo, Tom Thorpe, Luke Shaw, Daley Blind, Ander Herrera, Angel Di Maria, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Radamel Falcao.

    1. I want Lvg to convert Valencia to Rafael’s position.
    2. I want Lvg to always play Di Maria together.

That’s rubbish talk, Rafael is light years better than Valencia at right back, boy defensively and attacking wise he is less predictable than Valencia. He just needs to grow up a little and stop his nonsense.

I think David de gea must be dropped for Lindergard and Valencia must start. Lindergard. Rafael. Thorp. Rojo. Shaw. Blind. Herrera. Di Maria. Valencia. Rooney. Falcao. The system 4-4-2
