After days of speculation, the United team has finally been announced for today’s game against City. Three points for the Reds would prove a massive boost in the bid to make the top four, not to mention pile on the pressure on Manuel Pellegrini who’s future somewhat bizarrely doesn’t seem all that certain.

With all-time derby top scorer Wayne Rooney back from his suspension, as well as the re-invigorated Marouane Fellaini, there’s a good chance this won’t be the walkover for City that  last seasons derby was- well, both of last season’s if we’re completely honest.

Here’s the line up for United today:

De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Fellaini, Januzaj, Rooney, Di Maria, van Persie
