Who me? The 24 year-old could be on his way to Old Trafford. United could be set to add a talented winger to the squad in the Summer thanks to a release clause in Bayer Leverkusen’s young international Karim Bellarabi’s contract.

According the latest reports Louis Van Gaal has sanctioned a bid for the winger following extensive scouting.

The Metro notes: Manchester United are ready to move for Karim Bellarabi after details emerged of his surprise £10.9million release clause.

United have spent months scouting Bayer Leverkusen winger Bellarabi and have been eyeing up a deal at the end of the season.

The 24 year-old winger has a handful of German caps and could be exactly the type of reasonably priced young starlet that became synonymous with the club’s transfer policy before Sir Alex retired.

Bellarabi broke records earlier in the season when he grabbed the Bundesliga’s fastest ever goal, netting after just nine seconds away at Borussia Dortmund.

If United can add Bellarabi to the squad he could the type of player needed to add some much needed width to the side.
