Is the Belgian worth it?

Is the Belgian worth it?

Everton have slapped a £65 million price tag on striker Romelu Lukaku according to the latest reports in a bid to keep the striker at Goodison Park.

Lukaku has been in fine form this season and has attracted the interest of a host of clubs including United who are in desperate need of a striker having only two options upfront. Everton know that if they were to sell Lukaku they would need enough money to rebuild their side as despite the Belgian’s 15 league goals Roberto Martinez’s team sit 11th in the Premier League.

United could use one of our fringe players as part of the deal, who knows maybe even Maroune Fellaini could be used to tempt the Merseysiders into choosing the Reds over other options.

Although £65 million may seem excessive, Lukaku has been prolific in the Premier League over the past few seasons and United have struggled to handle him from his time at West Bromwich Albion which could make a move to Old Trafford more of a reality. With United struggling for goals, especially at Old Trafford the signing of the 22 year-old Belgian could be just the answer, with the striker always a good shout for first scorer with your Bet365 bonus code.

What makes you think Everton would want Fellaini back as I don’t know if you have noticed there a far better footballing side than we are, so he’s hardly going to fit into the Martinez style is he.
