They think it’s all over…

United boss Louis van Gaal appears to have given the biggest indication yet that he’s leaving the club with a short response to Sky Sports this morning.

The Reds manager has been rumoured to be leaving the club over the next few days with Jose Mourinho reportedly lined up to replace him. Mourinho refused to comment on the rumours linking him to United when he was asked outside the O2 Arena last night.

Today it was van Gaal’s turn to answer questions on his future and the former Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, AZ Alkamaar  and Netherlands coach gave a short reply.

“It’s over,” was all van Gaal had to say to reporters giving the strongest indication yet that his time at Old Trafford may be coming to an end. Despite winning the FA Cup on Saturday, a fifth place finish in the league and a lack of goals throughout the season has turned many fans against the manager and it seems the club may now agree.
