I’m coming home…

In one of the stranger stories to emerge following the arrival of Jose Mourinho it appears the artist formerly known as Luis Carlos Almeida Da Cunha could be set for a sensational return to United.

The Express notes:

Manchester United are close to re-signing Fenerbahce winger Nani, according to stunning claims in Turkey.

That is according to one of Turkey’s largest media outlets DHA, who claim United have already agreed personal terms with the Portugal international.

New Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho is said to have sanctioned the move, but the Premier League club are yet to agree a transfer fee with Fenerbahce.

Nani divided a lot of United fans during his time at the Reds, especially towards the end of his Old Trafford career and there’s no denying he can be frustrating. When he’s on form though, the Portuguese international can be one of the most productive players on the planet and has proven himself in the past.

It would be a bold move for Mourinho to bring back such an erratic player but if it’s true then maybe the Special One feels confident he can get the best out of his fellow countryman.

Will he bring Pogba back too? His assists would come in handy.
