“you’re just too good to be true..”

United fans have been waxing lyrical about Marcus Rashford for the past few months – ever since his debut in the Europa League.

Now it seems they’re being joined by England fans as following his goal scoring debut against Australia, the Wythenshawe-born teenager continued to impress, this time with a sensational substitute appearance against Wales to help England win 2-1.

It may have been Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge on the score sheet for the Three Lions but Rashford was arguably the star of the show, linking up with team mates, going past players and helping create the winning goal. The youngster really does have the world at his feet and if he can steer clear of injury and maintain his excellent attitude then Rashford could be superstar for many years to come.

Whether Hodgson will give Rashford another chance remains to be seen, but with performances like the one againsts Wales it’s going to be hard to ignore him.
