Rafael and Tevez

Will this little tussle be missing on Saturday?

Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Manchester City will have been watched with a quiet indifference by the majoirty of United fans.

After all with neither team bothering the title chase it”s difficult to get too excited watching two teams you can’t stand and have no influence over you, play each other.

One thing that probably did make every United fan sit up and take notice was Carlos Tevez limping off in the first half holding his hamstring area.

Following the Liverpool win Roberto Mancini told Sky Sports

“Carlos has a hamstring and it will be very difficult for him to play in the semi-final. I don’t think he will play,”

“We will try to recover him but it is very difficult and we have to think of the final six games of the season to get a Champions League place.”

With Wayne Rooney suspended the absence of Tevez could well even things up a little, some may even call it karma. I’m waiting till Saturday however to see just how real this injury is.

Carlos Tevez is a special case though. He is a giant, immature man baby. I wish him every misfortune that may befall a man, and I will enjoy it.
