Jose: "My friend Sir Alex"
Jose Mourinho told ITV he thinks his “friend Sir Alex” will be able to overcome FC Schalke and get through to the Champions League final.
Speaking after his Real Madrid team set up a mouth watering clash with Barcelona by defeating Spurs 5-0 on aggregate, the Special One seemed sure United will be facing the winners.
Mourinho was asked ‘do you expect Manchester United to beat Schalke’ to which he replied:
“I expect yes because they have a better team, they have a different status, they are comfortable playing these crucial matches.”
“Football is football and I am sure my friend Sir Alex will tell his people exactly that, in football you have to respect everything.”
When questioned later by Sky Mourinho also added:
“I hope Man United is in Wembley and if it’s a Real, Man U final, that would be the perfect final for me.”

United will certainly overcome Schalke, but I would predict a United-Barcelona final. Barca have a better squad than Real this season and seem to be simply unbeatable.
