Not even Barton can get as much press as United's record breaker
You’d think after racking up a record number of trophies, Manchester United appearances and Premier League seasons Ryan Giggs may have gotten a little tired of breaking new ground.
Well it seems such is Giggsy’s golden touch that he’s even able to turn all his recent troubles into another record-breaking endeavour.
The Guardian reports:
“Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn had record numbers of UK users last month as millions of Britons flocked to social networks to learn about the Ryan Giggs injunction.
“Twitter’s UK audience jumped by a third between April and May as thousands of users tweeted about Giggs’s alleged extra-marital affair. The number of female pensioners using the site also doubled month on month, according to online traffic figures released by UKOM/Nielsen on Monday.”
It seems Giggs just cannot help but break records and I for one fully expect him to break yet another one next season. 20 titles.
