Could Nike have let the secret out over Wesley Sneijder?

These images have been circulating around the internet for the past hour. It seems that if you type “Nike Football Wesley Sneijder” into google it will come up with this result. I’ve tried it myself so I can confirm it.

Has the secret been revealed prematurely by Nike?

This is a similar thing to what happened last season with Mesut Ozil remember…

He was “mysteriously” placed in the players page on the Official Man United website!

Apparently, that was a certainty that he was joining United… only to see a week later, he was wearing the white of Real Madrid!

Let’s wait till he signs for sure and stands with the United shirt!!! 😉

This is just a viral marketing ploy at best – pure prank at worst. It is quite easy to create a spurious google search result that cannot actually be found on the website they link to. Lots of organisations do it – key word searches that show you the link you are looking for, whereas the actual text is just some embedded code that the googlebots locate, but will never be displayed on the website!! he will come though, another won up on arsenal’s blue nosed parent club in the council house!!
