How's this United youngster faring at Posh?

Here’s the round-up of how United loanees got on this weekend…

Robbie Brady was the only youngster on the score sheet as he scored a beauty for Hull as they beat Reading 1-0. Former reds Joe Dudgeon and Corry Evans were unused substitutes for Hull.

Danny Drinkwater managed 81 minutes for Barnsley in their draw 0-0 at Millwall while Oliver Norwood played the full 90 minutes in Scunthorpe’s 3-2 loss at Sheffield Wednesday.

Wes’ brother Reece Brown could only come on for the last 4 minutes as Doncaster draw 1-1 with Bristol City.
Ryan Tunnicliffe played the last 54 minutes as Peterborough lost 2-0 at Brighton while Scott Wootton was an unused substitute.
Belgian defender Ritchie De Laet played the full 90 minutes of Norwich’s 3-1 loss at Chelsea. Norwich gave the Londoners a tough game with Grant Holt equalising but their inexperience was exposed as they had their goalkeeper sent off after bringing down Ramires and it was curtains after that.

Joshua King failed to make the Borussia Moenchengladbach squad that lost 1-0 to Schalke. Raul Gonzalez scored the only goal of the game for Schalke over the previously undefeated M’gladbach in the Bundesliga.

It is also expected that Kiko Macheda and Mame Diouf will join the ‘Loan-Watch’ brigade as they finalise temporary moves elsewhere to gain valuable experience. Watch this space for developments in the next 48 hours.
