Its all pure fantasy...

The Red Flag Flying High Fantasy Football league returned last weekend after the international break, and Wayne Rooney was again on fire, smashing in a hatrick….again….and doing the reds proud!

Our number ten is a popular pick amongst our FF players, and the blue quarter also had another hatrick hero, as new boy Sergio Aguero hit all City’s goals in a 3-0 win.

Other than that, we returned to a more normal weekend of points scoring, although since the last update the top of the league looks slightly different.

Tom Daniel, writer for Red Flag Flying High is in top spot with Werder Beerman, after scoring 100 points last week.  A great score, and great insight by the man who has Rooney as captain AND Aguero up front for him, with Nani and Silva notching 10 points each from Midfield.  Tom has 331 points so far this season.

We also welcome Simon Almquest in to the top three, as his Motigi Tempo side sit behind Tom on 319 points.

Here’s the top five…

1 Werder Beermen Thomas Daniel   331 pts
2 Mortigi Tempo Simon Almquest   319 pts
3 ManUtd Chong Hwee Lim   318 pts
4 Stocksy’s Scammers Colin Stocks   314 pts
5 The White Pele #19 Martyn Taylor   308 pts

Looking at the games this weekend, all the fixtures could be tight affairs.  I’m not expecting many massive scores, but then who knows?  My money will be on Everton getting the highest win of the weekend as they take on Wigan at home…I wonder which blue scousers I could…or should…put in to my side to get my score up?!  They’re not exactly knocking the goals in from attack, but they do have one or two players who like to pick up the points!

Good luck to all our players for gameweek 5!
