Liverpool v Manchester United – Match Preview

So, who’s going to be the biggest threat to United on Saturday? Two players came to the Liverpool supporter’s mind: “Well, it depends who starts but it looks as though Stevie G is going to be ready for his first full game of the season. He’s only played 24 minutes of the season so far, and there can be no better game for him to prove he’s still a force to be reckoned with. On form though, I think you can look no further than Mr Suarez as the man who can cause the most damage, though I have a feeling Reina will have to be on top form.”

Steve went for a 2-1 win to the Scousers on their home patch against the men at the top of the Premiership. Does that mean they consider themselves title challengers too? “Well, to be honest I think fourth place would be excellent for us this year. With Arsenal looking to be in disarray, Spurs seem to be the main threat to us for that spot. Realistically though, Arsenal still have some world class talent and will come back into the mix, Redknapp just loves the transfer market and I don’t know if they will ever have a settled side. Fourth (sadly) would be like winning the league for us this year. Long term, I think it’s in the hands of the owners, but from what they’ve done to date it seems like so far so good…except Carroll!”
