FT Tottenham Hotspur 1-3 Manchester United

De Gea – Started off shaky but grew in confidence throughout the game. Made two good saves and unlucky not to keep a clean sheet. 7

Jones – His enthusiasm lead to him being caught out of position and very nearly punished. Booked early on and looked nervy for the rest of the game. 5

Evans – Head and shoulders above every other United at halftime. Perfect positioning all game allowed him to make several vital interceptions. 8

Ferdinand – Not his usual commanding self. He played well but showed signs of fatigue. Deserves a much need rest after his recent performances. 6

Evra – Held his own against Lennon. Looked to go forward and even got an assist. Good enough. 6

Nani – Much was expected of him with Valencia out injured but did nothing to justify a regular starting position. 5

Scholes – Never really got going. Movement was lethargic and passing was off. Expect more from someone with that much experience and importance to the team. 5

Carrick – Break up play, pass, then show for the ball. Its nothing fancy but he did what was required off of him. 5

Young – Poor and not good enough for United according to some fans before the game. If that’s the case, I wish he was this poor every game. Fantastic little player. 7

Rooney – Touch was all over the place but his goal before half time may have lead to us winning our most important game of the season so far. 6

Welbeck – Put in a shift but nothing happened for him today. Touch was too heavy and failed to link up with his team mates. 5

Giggs – Added some much needed creativity and speed to our midfield. 6

Park – Covered a lot of distance to support the fullbacks late on. 5
