De Gea – Had a quiet game but still did brilliantly when called upon. 6

Jones – Bombarded the defence all game with his countless surging runs into the opponents half. 7

Evans – Simply a class act. So composed with the ball at his feet that he can afford to come forward and act as an extra midfield outlet. 7

Rio – Sat back in a sweeper role and dealt well with everything that was thrown at him. Very rarely troubled. 6

Evra – Seeing him perform this well today has given me hope he still has it in him to become his old self. Defended well and always looked to support the wingers. 8

Welbeck – Worked hard and did well from an unfamiliar position out-wide but failed to link up play as well as he normally does. 6

Scholes – Pulled the strings from central midfield with minimal fuss and made a few decent interceptions to go with. 6

Carrick – Master performance from him today. Quick feet and intricate passing tore the Albion’s defence. 8

Young – Every attack that went through our team in the first half involved him. Constantly harassed their right back and left him for dead on countless occasions. 8

Rooney – He’s now scored 9 goals in his last 5 games after slotting in Chicharito’s shot with a clever run and finish, and also blasting away mercilessly from the spot. 7

Chicharito – Brilliant performance from him. Held the ball well and always looked to play his team mates in. Set up our first and unlucky to hit the bar. 9

Subs:

Pogba – Came on to add some fresh legs into the equation but failed to do much with his brief cameo. 5

Cleverley – His speed and touch in the final ten minutes nearly let to us scoring a few times. Great to have him fit again. 6
