De Gea – He must have been frozen in that cold weather due to him literally not having to make a single notable save. 5

Rafael – Ended up playing as a second winger with the amount of times he ran into the opposition half. Not scared to get stuck in and was even unlucky not to get a goal. 8

Evans – Strong in the air and confident on the ball, he was able to win the ball back then join the midfield to help find a defence splitting pass. 8
Rio – Dealt with everything he was required to do with class. His touches on the ball were sharp on a slippery surface and his composure allowed him to spread the play to the wide players. 7

Evra – A notable performance from the captain. He was solid at the back and made various important tackles. He also worked hard to help the attackers and his effort deserves praise. 8

Valencia – One dimensional in the first half but improved immensely in the second period. Always beating his man, it was unfortunate that we were unable to get a goal from one of his crosses. 6

Carrick – Showed technical brilliance all game with some deadly passes to go with. He always looked to play the ball forward and was unlucky to have his bullet shot rattle the crossbar. 7

Scholes – Another master class performance from Satnav. His passing range varied but his astonishing accuracy always ended with one result. Scored a typical Scholesy goal to cap off a fine performance. 8

Young – In and about the opposition box, he did well to stretch the play but wasn’t really able to create any other chances other than win the penalty. 6

Rooney – Another game, another goal for Wazza. He tracked back all game and ensured we didn’t concede on the break. He could have scored a few more had he been a bit more selfish with the ball. 6

Welbeck – Was at the end of some intricate passing with his striking partner but he had a relatively poor game. 5

Subs:
Giggs – Brought a bit more composure on the ball to try and help find that second goal. 6
Jones – Came on as a precaution for the already booked Rafael and helped keep a clean sheet. 5
Cleverley – Instilled some energy into the midfield, he increased the tempo of the game and even managed to get a shot on goal. 5

I think Rafael should think about doing something on his own instead of kicking it to Valencia when a centre would be a better option He still passes to him when he is being marked by two men. I think Fergie in the second half should have replaced Rafael with Jones and had a three man defence and brought another attacking forward on. I cant understand why he will not play Berbatov. He is what we need when teams park the bus.

Yeah lets replace a attacking right back with a player that has no idea where he is supposed to play what is with this hate wagon that is building up for raffa he compliments Valencia extremely well it is no coincidence that they are both in the form of there life now they are both getting a run of games.
