With former United star Cristiano Ronaldo back in Manchester to face City in the Champions League tonight, more than a few Reds have been reminiscing about the impact the Portuguese winger had at Old Trafford.

I’ve had a few Blue mates- and even a couple of Red ones ask the question “why do United fans love Ronaldo so much?” Thought I’d answer it:

Apologies if I missed a few out……

to all the united fans who think we must hate ronaldo, you have basically lost the right to support this club…we aint freaking arsenal, its stupid to be predujiced against former players specially against ronaldo who did so much for us. Obviously if we play madrid in the CL we need to focus on the match but in no way must we act like assholes towards one of our most decorated player.
P.S. – there is one exception, Carlos Tevez…hopefully pepe or vidic breaks his legs when they play against him because that cunt deserves it for the “rip fergie” sign.

Man Utd has always respected their former players and any club should , You lot should be ashamed of some of your statements , Ronaldo was a fabulous player for Utd much better than any of the lot we have now.
Only a hanger on will come away with statements like ” I don’t want him back ” Short memories.

Ronaldo is right up their with Giggsy and Scholes.

    A true Utd fan.

Short memory? I’ve loved united for over 10 years! I remember when he was an immature and selfish kid. We turned him into a man, a teammate and a winner. He left to fulfill his dream. That’s fine. Thanks for the memories and the goals. Now he is messi’s bitch. We made him and i’m sure that we can make another world class superstar like him.

i dont agree with markyboy at all….ronaldo is an emotional guy and he sulked when he didnt get his move….however he stayed that last seasin and won us the league..it was always his dream to play for RM…he always spoke well of united since…and we clearly havent replaced him…hence why we still love him…mind you in the current madness of our manager if ronaldo came back he would probably pick wellbeck or giggs instead…

Dear Fans, don’t be pissed that you are not as good looking(my niece says that he hot..lol), as fast,as skilled or a goalscoring machine, like ronaldo is! For the past 20 yrs, which other player has entertained us and wowed us, like he has? Which other UTD player stayed til 2 or 3 o clock(a.m),working out in the gym,to become a UTD legend? So,stop being jealous, of our very own Son!Oh,& wat about that Huge Profit made from selling him?
