So Wilfried Zaha is finally a Manchester United player after one of the least surprising deals of the transfer window was announced by the club this morning. The Crystal Palace winger won’t be plying his trade at Old Trafford just yet though as he has to help Ian Holloway’s men push for promotion as part of the deal which sees him loaned back to Selhurst Park for the remainder of the season.
The youngster will reportedly cost United around £15 million when he joins in July, with his medical taking place this afternoon. Despite Sir Alex’s insistence there would be no signings this transfer window, the Zaha deal was one of the worst kept secrets in football and has been reported throughout the press as far back as last Summer.
We may have to wait until we see Zaha wearing the Red of United but fear not here’s a mock-up of what he’ll look like when he finally does pose in a United shirt.
