Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke’s seemingly telepathic understanding during the treble winning season was the stuff of legend and played a huge part in United’s success that in 1999.

As a bit of fun Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck took on Yorke and Cole in a ‘telepathy’ test to see if they could match the deadly duos understanding. A none too impressed Javier Hernandez looked on as the blindfolded Rooney tries to put Danny Welbeck’s cross into an empty net.

With two games in the space of three days coming up United will need all the strikers on form as Sir Alex Ferguson could juggle his forward line. The recent international break saw Van Persie, Rooney and Chicharito all among the goals so there’s no doubt Fergie has plenty of options to choose from.

Although we won’t see a season as successful as the one we saw in 1999 there’s no reason why 2013 can’t be year to remember for United.
