One player who may not be going anywhere in the Summer but certainly could give the manager plenty plenty to think about is Antonio Valencia who’s form over the past nine months has been nothing short of abysmal. United may have managed to win the league at a canter but there’s no denying that Valencia seems to have gone from being one of our biggest assets to at times a passenger or even a liability.
The general feeling amongst United fans is that Valencia has done enough since he signed from Wigan to prove his worth and deserves at least the early part of next season to remind us of what he can do. Part of the reason many Reds feel this way is a bit of sentimentality, something our new manager won’t have when it comes to players.
Moyes has some tough decisions to make as the new boss not just in keeping hold of Wayne Rooney who unfortunately has dominated the headlines for the wrong reasons these past two weeks. One big decision may involve our number seven and whether Moyes can really afford to enter the new season waiting to see if he gets his mojo back.
Should Valencia be given a chance to prove his worth next season? Is it time to give the likes of Young, Nani and Zaha a chance on the wings?

right on gordon, utd have class players for every poaition.we have the right mix of youth and experience.and i believe wayne’s frustrated at the way sir alex handled him towards the end.i understand his sentiments, right or wrong he just wants to be heard.the lad is class,we will do everything to keep him here.as for ronaldo,i am not a bitter fan like those gunners taunting rvp.(haha)but cr7 left united and that was goodbye.we dnt need him,we are better off.we are tryin to build a “team” in manchester.he isnt welcum.cocky lad but legend for sure
only sell rooney if we bring back ronaldo, buy ronaldo or bale and a creative midfielder like cesc or tiago at barca. and strootman to hold the midfield. sell anderson and valencia, love them both but their time is now up. mufc for another 20years under sir david moyes.
While id love to see a sea of top players added to the squad i think we should allow Moyes the opportunity to see whether he can get the best out of some of the players that are there.
That said we definately need to get a Strootman/Fellaini, and or Cesc/Thiago/Modric type for the middle.
As for the wings of the ones there I would get rid off Young, as good as he thinks he is has he really ever delivered?…as frustrating as Nani can be he is miles better than Young!…just sort out his contract!!
and if Rooney has said he wants to leave…show him the door!!!
thats 2x in a few years that he has threatened the club…who does he think he is?
get rid for abt 35+ and get in a player that wants to play for the club FULL STOP!
ppl wishing for CR7 or Bale…lets wait and see and in the meantime lets get realistic and say Rodriguez or Quintero….
either way its gonna be interesting, but the MAIN thing that Moyes can sort out is the CM!!!
valencia, young and nani services are no more needed.please if moyes can hear me out,he should sale them or give them to other teams as a gift if he wants to keep his job
Atrocious suggestions… Especially the Carrick one. He’s easily one of our most consistent performer. I believe that what’s more important for Moyes is to NOT COMPLETELY revamp the whole team, but stick with it together, in order to build the core of the team. Then as the year goes by, Moyes can slowly revamp the team. Sir Alex does the same and we can see how his team gone from strength to strength every season.
I think dat da new manger shud sell valencia as he nt even a proper winger da only thng he does is run to the bar line n cross has nor skills of a numba 7 cnt even beat a defender 1 0n 1 we shud singn malaga isco and a holding mid in modric oh vidal
Hey guyz!! We only have one major problem and dat is our defensive mildfield… If u hav a good 4, I fink u are as good as GO”
Your plan is a type that can relegate man utd from the big 4clubs in the Epl.we don’t need big names to come in before we can hold back the trophy.if we want to be judgemental at the end of next season, let Moyes uses the very guys or players,SAF used in winning Epl with 11 points clear from the runner up and,win the league next season with atleast goals’difference,if not by apoint or two.then the team can be strengthen by upper season by the Glazers.i believe that, this sole idea can MUFC far under Moyes as the next Boss and,we would also build our faiths in him then.
nobody should be sold except possibly rooney.even saf said, before retirement, that there are no plans to sell.guys calling for ando, tony v,young and nani to leave are off the track.the season is long and you usually expect utd to fire on all cylinders and for that you don’t just need quality but also a great varied squad.as for rooney, the guy is becoming poisonous.no respect for the club and a mercenery although he is a great player, but nobody is bigger than the club.the ideal scenario for the new boss would be:sell rooney for about 40 million and getting rid of his undeserved monstrous salary, get bale and wanyama, putting them on good money and incentives and promote the likes of cole, lingard, michael keane et al from the academy.everybody should stay.rooney sold.reinforcements coming, youngsters promoted.those trolls calling for the heads of valencia are fools.don’t forget the guy had just one bad season and last year he was stand out performer.one bad season and he should be hanged…clueless cunts.the squad is great but if the ideal scenario plays out then bring on barca and bayern for a mighty rape.also noticed a royal asshole in dylan c.
