Catalan Paper: Rooney & Villa For Thiago
Catalan paper Sport has claimed that Barcelona are working on a deal that will take Thiago Alcantara AND David Villa to Old Trafford, with Wayne Rooney going the other way.
The paper’s headline reads [translated]
“Barca designs a three-way operation. Rooney leaves Manchester for the Nou Camp for 30 million Euros with Thiago and Villa moving to Old Trafford for 26 million.”
The problem with such a deal, may not even be the suggestion of Rooney leaving Old Trafford, it’s the idea that David Villa at 31 years-old with just 15 league goals in his last two seasons could be do a job for United. A few seasons ago many Reds would have welcomed Villa- especially before the 2011 Champions League final- but now after a serious injury at the end of 2011 and with time not on his side, its a doubtful move to say the least.

It sounds gud,besides david villa would a scored more goals if given regular playin time in d last 2 seasons. I jst love his finishin style in front of goal and pairin RVP for a regular football in a 4-4-2 formation would cretae more goals 4 united. We need stablility in d midfield cos united attack has never been d problem, we need dat reel steel in d midle of d park dat will dictate d game. Bring in thiago, his performance would help grow again d like of anderson, cleverly. Up united.
