Spurs v Manchester United 16th January 2011, the score finishes nil-nil as the unbeaten United stretch their run to 21 Premier League games without defeat while simultaneously going top of the table.
Not the most memorable game but afterwards something happened that may come close to being worthy of note, having swapping shirts Gareth Bale leaves the field with a United top draped over his shoulder, possibly the closest we’ll ever get to seeing him wearing one.
Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas recently insisted Bale is “not for sale at any price” amidst growing rumours that United are about to launch a £60 million bid for the Welsh winger.
One would expect AVB to say that, but the smart money seems to be on Bale staying at White Hart Lane for at least one more season, plus with Real Madrid sniffing around, a move to Old Trafford seems unlikely.
Stranger things have happened but Bale to United may be more of a fantasy than a reality, hope I’m wrong……
I want to believe that if properly manage, the materials we are having is enough for us to earn what we want.
Who care? Untd is there 4gud plyers. Evry gud player wants to play @ unitd
Madrid r most lickley to gt bale so man utd should go for ozil
To my own point of view, i wil rather let moyes 2 bid 4 both of fabrigas and bale cos it will very very work and outstanding 4 man united dis summer and sell wayne roony
utd to sign bale wil b fantastic… But why can’t united sign bryan reus the fulham midfielder
Pls moyes 4get fab he is nt a depensive midfield u shuld go 4 kondogbiya or filaini
Go get them now and I pray God will hp. Him.
I will like to see the bale playing the manchester united this season
Moyes shld put more efforts in buying bale and fabrigas……. If he really wants results
Bale will give us more option. But a classic midfielder in Cesc or Fellaini is needed.4ward ever UNITED.
