United’s pursuit of Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas looks to be coming to an end as the player himself gets ready for the new season with his club and the Reds turn their attentions elsewhere.
On Monday Fabregas tweeted how he was looking forward to resuming training with Barcelona, while the papers were awash with stories this morning of United turning our attentions to Real Madrid’s Luka Modric.
The Summer has been a frustrating one on the transfer front for United, with Thiago Alcantara choosing Bayern Munich, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, never really seeming that close to heading to Old Trafford and now Fabregas looking set to stay at the Nou Camp.
United signing Modric may soften the blow for impatient fans eager to see new signings but the big question is have United consistently taken a step back in each of their transfer pursuits? Modric is a useful player but a Ronaldo, Bale, Thiago or Fabregas he aint.
No one wants to come to united until they all see moyes do well or bad, until moyes proves he has the class to manage united no one wants to be the first major singing flop
manchestre united shd push 4 fabrigas or luka modric bcos united is luking an offensive midfeildre.more over united shd release roony n give kagawa free roul
If u ask me. I will choose modric over fabrigas any time. But unted are not just seriuse in the transfer market.
