Does the former Palace man have a big part to play next season?

David Moyes faces many tough decisions in his first week as United manager but while all the focus is on the Wayne Rooney situation there’s also the small matter of what to do with new addition Wilfried Zaha.

According to reports several Premier League clubs are interested in loaning the youngster off United should Moyes decide he’s not ready to use the former Palace star just yet.

The Mirror notes:

Fulham, West Ham and Crystal Palace are all waiting to find out whether new Manchester United manager David Moyes is ready to send Wilfried Zaha out on loan.

All three clubs have submitted bids to offer the 20-year-old wonderkid regular first-team football next season.

Zaha, bought by then-United boss Alex Ferguson in January but loaned back to south Londoners Palace for the second half of last season, wants to stay at the Old Trafford giants.

Loaning Zaha out so he can get some valuable Premier League experience may seem like a good idea to many fans but with the erratic form of all United’s wingers last season, surely now is the time to give the youngster a chance.

Personally I’d like to see Zaha stay at Old Trafford next season and give the likes of Antonio Valencia and Nani a run for their money, let’s just see if Moyes agrees.

I think it’s a real waste of time and money to keep players with very low performance and completely disappointing like Valencia, Nani, Young, Anderson and keeping the ‘old’ Giggs. It’s high time to launch new and young blood on the battle field. Sir Alex did it with Becks, Nevilles, etc. And it paid off!
