Cristiano Ronaldo has shocked the powers that be at Old Trafford by failing to turn up for his unveiling as a Manchester United player yesterday, instead opting to spend the day playing for his current club Real Madrid.
The Sun reported weeks ago that Ronaldo was due to be unveiled at Old Trafford on August the 8th, yet despite the paper never being wrong and a completely credible source when it comes to transfer activity the move failed the come off.
Many reasons have been cited by unnamed sources somewhere, including ones suggesting Ronaldo simply forgot he’d signed for United, or David Moyes changing the date at the eleventh hour as not to take the shine away from Rio Ferdinand’s cap selling game at Old Trafford later today.
Another reason given by thousands of people who didn’t care if they were named or not was that the story was complete nonsense and Ronaldo is no closer to signing for United than he’s ever been and will end up staying at Real Madrid this Summer.
Maybe the story was a typo….
The sarcastic nature of the piece seems to have evaded a fair few of the sharp tools on here. And you gotta love the “go get Gundogan” comments, like it’s as easy as nipping off to your corner grocery for a quart of milk. Dortmund aren’t some two-bit club, and after losing Mario Gotze, I doubt Klopp will be crying into Gundogan’s bosom for ten minutes, bidding him adieu, any time soon. Trust Moyes, the man knows where United are weakest and I doubt he’ll be daft enough to go into the new season without addressing that hole in our midfield. Right now, Joey fucking Barton would be a massive improvement to our midfield, so it really doesn’t matter if the manager unveils a “marquee” player or not, right now, anyone with a pulse would do.
Why don’t Man Utd try their luck for Germany’s next big midfield talent – Jullian Draxier. Along with Gotze, this youngster has earned himself a high reputation, he also did rreally well in last seasons CL. I also think Draxier would be interested to hear from United, after admitting earlier in the summer that it would be hard to turn the likes of Real, Barca and Man Utd. Moyes sign him before Chelsea get him !
barcelona have made a whopping 50 million pounds plus lionel messi bid for danny wellbeck…..however moyes will refuse to sell the gifted striker…….moyes empthaticly stated “united fans should rest assured we wont sell wellbeck at any price…yes messi is a fine player…however can he guarentee you 2 goals a season as well as running around like a drunken giraffe..danny is mr man united…we dont and wont buy any players while we have the greatest ever player at our club”

What a load of nonsense, all rumours but nothing happens, am tired of all the way transfer is being handled at man utd, moyes and whoever else is concerned are very boring with their old school methods of signing player it’s crystal clear no big players will join man utd, am so sadd to be honest.
Whether rumors flow in rumors flow out,man utd must try and re-sign CR7 from madrid,cos CR7 was initiated with ‘Red Devils Blood’ i can see him glancing in our flanks.

He was never coming back to man utd used us to get a better contract at were he is now. Man utd av been to open on who they want to bring in. CR7 good bye.
