A brace of goals against Bayer Leverkusen, reaching 200 goals for United, the fans cheering his name, you’d think all would be rosy for Wayne Rooney- but you’d be wrong.
Rooney may have the backing of the fans and manager but the striker still refused to admit he wanted to stay at United, nor would he shed light on whether he asked to leave last Summer.
Gabriel Clarke was the man tasked with asking Rooney the post match questions but seemed to rile United’s number ten when he asked him about his desire to stay.
All Rooney would say is he’s enjoying his football and the fans have been fantastic, maybe Jose Mourinho can give us a better answer.
Not sure I get your point lad, the whole request for a transfer was a bloody fabrication, Rooney stated his case, he’s shown he’s happy at United, so what are you getting on about???
Rooney is very right, Jose Mourino has been the mouth piece controvercy on his transfer saga from day one, so go ask him.
