Shinji was flying against Sociedad.

Shinji was flying against Sociedad.

Shinji Kagawa finally convinced David Moyes of his ability last night with a performance against Real Sociedad the manager labelled his best of the season.

While the diminutive Japanese star may be waking up this morning, basking in the glory of his new found managerial adulation, for another young attacking player the current situation doesn’t look nearly as bright.

Wilfried Zaha will have watched Shinji Kagawa playing out wide on the left and impressing everyone and had something of a knot in his stomach. The former Crystal Palace man can operate on either flank and with Antonio Valencia and Nani much more suited to the right hand side, Adnan Januzaj and now Shinji Kagawa looking impressive on the left, not to mention Ashley Young still finding favour with Moyes, it could be a long time before we see Zaha starting for Manchester United.

None of United’s wingers have covered themselves in glory this season- although Januzaj has been pretty inspired- and by rights Zaha should’ve been given at least a substitute appearance to prove himself. If the youngster doesn’t make the squads for either the upcoming game against Stoke City in the league or next week’s Capital One Cup game against Norwich City then a loan move away in January is all but guaranteed.

I thing man utd play better with out RVP, we should try something like this 4-2-3-1. Dea gea , rafael, jones, evans, evra, carrick, cleverly, nani, kagawa, januzaj, rooney……… With vidic, smalling, fellaini, welbeck, RVP on standby, the others should be axed “anderson, young, ferdinand, giggs, valencia, zaha(loan)”

What is is Ashley Young still finding with Moyes? Moyes is not a coach.

  4. ak says:

Kagawa in central create more chance and more dangerous rather when he was in left. Rooney should have been in left. He is playing every where.

  5. ak says:

Now if moyes finally convince to give kagawa his real position in stoke behind strike i can’t imagine how many goal united will score.

  6. Dragon says:

I think Moyes will have finally seen Kagawa in the middle is the way forward. I reckon he can play alongside carrick in an attacking midfield role. That still leaves two winger positions available for Zaha because neither Valencia, Nani or Young have owned them.

    Just imagine the line-up.
    Degea
    rafael,jones,vidic,evra
    carrick,fellaini
    kagawa
    nani,januzaj
    rooney.
    Sub coming
    van persie(nani)

then januzaj goes in right and rooney in left
then after the combintion with rooney in half second kagawa start doing with van persie. On top rooney cross and long pass from left side oh oh… Every where danger is coming for stoke.

Providing his attitude is right, Zaha will start in the League Cup game.

Zaha should of played by now, why he hasn’t played and young is playing I think is not right, since youngs first season I haven’t seen anything that convinces me that young should still be playing and for moyes to say that Zaha is not ready to play for united I think is a disgrace, if Zaha wasn’t ready for united then I don’t believe fergie would of signed him in the first place, I think Zaha has been unfairly treated, that’s my opinion anyway
