Will the youngster start against the tough Stoke side? David Moyes knows this Saturday’s game against Stoke City is far more than a run-of-the-mill Premier League tie against lower table opposition. It’s nearing crisis point already in the league in terms of United’s title bid and although it’s far from over, if the Reds slip into double digits behind the leaders, you’d be hard pressed to find a bookie who’d take money on the PL trophy wearing different ribbons next May.

United can ill afford to drop anymore points this early in the campaign at home to struggling sides and with that in mind we can expect Moyes to name a strong side for the visit of Stoke. Lessons have to be learned from not just the Southampton game but also the West Bromwich Albion one where the inclusion of fringe players such as Alexander Buttner and Anderson backfired badly.

The recent Champions League win over Real Sociedad will have given Moyes some confidence and possibly even influenced his thinking on the long term future of a certain Shinji Kagawa. Despite the Japanese stars impressive display against the Spanish side, I don’t think he’ll make the side on Saturday.

Here’s my predicted line up:

David De Gea, Rafael, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini, Ashley Young, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie.

Do you think that will be the line up? Feel free to let us know not just what team you think Moyes will choose, but also what team he should below:
