David Moyes takes his all-conquering Manchester United side to Wales for the second time this season as the Reds take on the artists formerly known as the Bluebirds at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday. It may have been a great time for United fans just before the international break with the win over highflying Arsenal but with injuries to Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini requiring surgery all of a sudden the midfield situation is looking bleak.

It’s not all doom and gloom of course as United are in fine form and Cardiff have endured something of a tumultuous time mainly due to the interference of their owner Vincent Tan who for reasons known only to himself as all but sacked head of recruitment Iain Moody to replace him with his son’s mate.

Come Sunday though back room shenanigans may be irrelevant as Cardiff will know any form of result against the champions will give them a huge boost and as they’ve shown against City they can mix it with the big boys.

Moyes may have injuries and a tricky away tie in Leverkusen awaiting next week but that shouldn’t stop him picking a strong side for a game United need to win to keep the recent league momentum going.

Here’s my predicted line up for Sunday’s game:

David De Gea, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Rafael, Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Ryan Giggs, Antonio Valencia, Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie.

Do you agree? Will Anderson be given a chance? Do we need to rest RVP for Europe? Let us know your line up:
