It’s not all doom and gloom of course as United are in fine form and Cardiff have endured something of a tumultuous time mainly due to the interference of their owner Vincent Tan who for reasons known only to himself as all but sacked head of recruitment Iain Moody to replace him with his son’s mate.
Come Sunday though back room shenanigans may be irrelevant as Cardiff will know any form of result against the champions will give them a huge boost and as they’ve shown against City they can mix it with the big boys.
Moyes may have injuries and a tricky away tie in Leverkusen awaiting next week but that shouldn’t stop him picking a strong side for a game United need to win to keep the recent league momentum going.

Cardiffs main threat will be from set pieces so Vidic is a must with either Smalling or Evans. Midfield is a problem. They will press all over the pitch and run their legs off. Anderson would be a big risk as he has no real form this season. Giggs and Cleverley is a lightweight combination and Fellaini is short of confidence. I think Rooney will play deep as an extra midfielder alongside Cleverley and probably Fellaini to give us 4-5-1 until Cardiff tire. I also think Janazai may be brought back into the fray having had a three week rest. Kagawa will be kept for Leverkuson in midweek.
adanson is ok, for this game, but moyes should bench sir giggs and play kagawa, and valencia should b on sit and play nani…
