Woodward brokering a deal?

United are reportedly set to bid for Chelsea’s Juan Mata according to reports. If the Reds are to have any chance of convincing Jose Mourinho to part with the playmaker, then executive vice-chairman Edward Woodward will have to improve on his horror show during the last transfer window, which saw Cesc Fabregas pursued somewhat pointlessly and Marouane Fellaini bought for similar reasons.

Woodward was at Stamford Bridge on Sunday for United’s defeat to Chelsea as shown by this exclusive pic taken after the game, will he be back there to sign a deal for Mata? I certainly hope so as the Spaniard is exactly the type of creative player United need and although figures of £40 million have been bandied about, Mata may just be worth it.

It’s a lot of money that is being quoted for Mata and the question remains – do we really need a player that plays in the same position as at least 4 other United players!

I admit we do need at least one marquee signing but the one thing that is annoying me most is all the speculation – back in the Fergie days you knew we wanted a player when he actually had signed and that is something that needs to continue’

Once the press get hold of something they are relentless in their bullshit and this is only angering the fans further and driving a wedge between the fans and staff! Moyes will be a great manager for us if he keeps his gob shut and keeps things in the United tradition!!

Just my thoughts Mata would be a great signing if he was a straight forward midfielder and might be the lift that the overpaid average players need to get a top 4 position back on track!!

    Just sayin…..

United are in for Messi…..Cavani and the midfield will be Reus,Gundogan,Herrera, and Drexler. The back four will be Raphael,Evans,Mangala and Moreno…..and they all could not wait to work with Moyes and give their all for ‘The Glasers’…..as they have heard of their visionary training methods, their morals, and fantastic tactics……Oh yes the bench will be Maura, RVP,Rooney,Kagawa,Pique, and Joe Hart
Entertainment at all future games will be Michael Buble, Rod Stewart….as the Glasers will from now on be thinking of the fans and giving them a true ‘Theatre of Dreams’….and then I awoke to a couple of loan signings, a couple of kids, and the longest injury list in O/T history, adithering chancer of a manager, owners abusing us fans and paying the banksters and themselves. One day soon they will leave……so stick with Moyes…..
