Could United’s new signing be the difference? David Moyes faces one of the men who previously occupied the Old Trafford dugout as Rene Meulensteen brings his struggling Fulham side to Old Trafford.

Moyes finds himself under pressure yet again, this time for the recent defeat away to Stoke City which has got more than a few people suggesting his tenure as United boss could be coming to an early end should results not drastically improve.

With Fulham in something of a free fall under Meulensteen- he recently claimed the Cottagers have hit rock-bottom – there’s no excuses for Moyes should he fail to beat a side who arguably have less confidence than anyone else in the league right now.

The question is how does Moyes get Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie to play together? Now could be the time for the manager to abandon the 4-4-2 that’s been something of an albatross around United’s neck.

Here’s my predicted line up: [4-3-3]

David De Gea, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Marouane Fellaini, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Robin Van Persie.

Do you agree?
