Louis Van Gaal is set for a double Bundesliga raid when he takes over at Manchester United, according the latest reports.
The Dutchman is the hot favourite to take over from Ryan Giggs in the Summer once the Netherlands World Cup campaign comes to an end. Despite Giggs enjoying a great start to his role as interim boss with a 4-0 win over Norwich City, the smart money’s on Van Gaal to take over.
The Express reports:
The 62-year-old is a big admirer of the Bundesliga and is keen on Germany pair Toni Kroos and Marcos Reus.
Bayern Munich star Kroos and Borussia Dortmund forward Reus are long-term United targets and are high on their summer shortlist.
Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is actively pursuing United’s targets with a reported £200million transfer budget expected to be given to van Gaal when he comes in.
If Van Gaal is given the budget being suggested and can attract players of the quality of Kroos and Reus then there’s every reason to believe United could put this disastrous season well and truly behind us and challenge for the title in the next campaign.
get for the quality world classic manager before the world cup kick off.
My own point is this… Man united should buy louis van gaal as our coach.. And allow him to decide on which player to buy… They should give him all the financial support he need… We the fans of manchester united don’t want to resume next season with another shame… Please.. And as for toni kross and strooman and reus.. Please sir van gaal.. buy them.. They are important ooo.. And don’t forget to buy a defender please.. Because vidic is leaving and ferdinard is old.. Evra is also leaving please.. And also attackers.. We need them… We don’t need welbeck please oooo…
Who ever that is going 2take over frm interim utd Boss Ryan Giggs should try as much as possible 2buy quality players like Garey,Luke show,Hummels,Fabregas,Kroos,Cavalho,Reus and Cavani.
Paul pogba too…..sell fellani
I think van gaal is the most ideal manager to lead united frm it crisis
Mmm. I think United’s 4 th manager in 10 months is planning to ‘buy the league’. How times have changed! Followers of my blog will be familiar with my constant refrain -United were the best because they had the most dosh! Your business model is now outdated. The correct course of action was appoint a manager on performance not emotion, build a team from within ( a la class of ’92) and demonstrate consistency. The only consistency evident at Old Trafford is the requirement to remove banners! My guess is that the reds will face a long period in obscurity. The Premier league has never been as competetive and football is the winner. Rumours of Messi coming to the Etihad are likely to prove true – this should be celebrated by the whole of Manchester. Oh – and I still think your home page ‘Not arrogant Just better’is fab-please dont change it!
