Will this pair be at United next season?

Louis Van Gaal is not only expected to be announced as the new United boss any day now, but also arrive at Old Trafford brandishing the axe for many of the current stars, according to reports.

The Mail notes:

Manchester United’s players and their families gathered at Carrington on Sunday for a children’s fun day organised by interim manager Ryan Giggs knowing that the party is almost over.

For a number of the squad, Tuesday’s match against Hull City will be their last appearance at Old Trafford. For others, that moment has already passed. Hours later, Louis van Gaal is set to be confirmed as manager and life will never be quite the same again.

The story then lists a host of United players who underachieved against Sunderland – Ashley Young, Nani, Chicharito- on Saturday before adding:

None of them are safe from the Van Gaal revolution as he prepares to take a £150million wrecking ball to the empire that Sir Alex Ferguson built.

It remains to be seen who will survive the LVG appointment, but there’s no doubt the Dutchman won’t be afraid to trim a squad that in all honesty needs to lose some of it’s under-performing fringe players.

The likes of young, smalling, Jones, welbeck, zaha, lindegaard, Powell, carrick should all be under consideration to be sold this summer as Carrickis now getting old, lindegaard is just a #2 and the oothersare bit very talented at all. Young is straight out crap. Don’tgive me this bs that powell scores in midfield as he has not played there at all for wigan and he will not be a forward at this club. Don’t talk up zaha as he is just awful, been poor all season and like powell he does not deserve a chance at Utd. Jones/smalling are simply not good enough, poorest defenders in the team. Talking up Powell is like why don’t we give bebe and macheda a shot as both done well on loan but simply not Utd standard.

Players like Lingard deserve to play for Utd, been awesome all season and has 9 goals as a midfield/wing player, supreme talent who should be in the team next season.

De Gea Amos, Johnstone; Evans, M.Keane, Rafael, Buttner, (maybe) Evra & Ferdinand; Januzaj, Lingard, Mata, Kagawa, Nani, Valencia, Cleverley, Fletcher, Pereira; Chicharito, Van Persie, Wilson, (maybe) Rooney & W.Keane…………… what ever recruits the new manager makes when it comes to the defense, midfield/wing and front line………..Giggs is a must to be kept at the club, whether as a player or coach we must keep him here and the same goes for Scholes, Butt and P.Neville.

“bit very talented at all” is meant to say not very talented at all.

I know some will not agree with me or even like what I said but it is my opinion and I have every rights to such. I just dont see what people get about zaha as he is not Utd quality and Powell is not good enough to play for this club, Jones/smalling are the weak links and we have to get rid. Young is just rubbish, fellaini is without doubt the worst player we have signed in a long time, never wanted him, always knew he didn’tbelong at this club.

Is not the matter of trimming the club‘s underperforming players only, because they are many. The need is just to keep the few performing players and tick the box for mass recruitment.

The like of young should be the 1st to leave. Cleverly could be improved on. He is still a young lad
