Brendan Rodgers’ side will arguably represent the biggest, or perhaps most pertinent test for the Reds so far on the tour as not only are they obviously a Premier League side, but one who won’t treat this game like an irrelevant kick around- which you fear Real Madrid did at times.
It’s hard not to get excited though, as United have rampaged through the US tour with the sort of sumptuous football David Moyes didn’t believe existed and if he found out he’d have hated it. A win against Liverpool in any capacity is always a good result and one that will set United up nicely for the return home.
Danny Welbeck is still a doubt so here’s how United could line up in a few hours in Miami:
[3-4-2-1] David De Gea, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Luke Shaw, Darren Fletcher, Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia, Juan Mata, Shinji Kagawa, Wayne Rooney.
Smalling is injured
Never mind been edited now!
We may struggle if we play 3-4-1-1……..as we’d be a player short
That’s better
