The Colombian is feeling confident

United’s on loan striker Radamel Falcao insists his injury problems are behind him and is confident he will be given the chance to prove himself by Louis Van Gaal.

Much has been made of the fact the Colombian has struggled to get a run of games this season, even failing to make the  bench in the recent home game against Southampton. After the QPR game last weekend the forward was feeling much more confident about his United future.

Falcao said: “It was 90 very important minutes for me. I need to play and I am very happy that I did. Obviously, I really hope to score soon, but the opportunities will come, I am sure of that.

“I am fine. I feel really good. I am playing without any sort of fitness problems.”

Speaking of the QPR game the striker added:

“I am very happy with the win. It was a very difficult game but we managed the match well and got the three points.”
