Manchester United’s Summer transfer spending looks set to increase this week with news that the Reds have moved for Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Scheinsteiger. The world cup winning star could join Louis Van Gaal’s squad over the next few days as the club has agreed a deal according to the latest reports.

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich.
The German midfielder is set to join on a three-year deal for a fee believed to be around £5.75m.
Friday saw the club officially unveil Dutch star Memphis Depay and Louis Van Gaal confirmed Italian defender Matteo Darmian is due for a medical at the club meaning the Reds could have three new signings before they depart for their Summer tour of the US.
